Tabla de equivalencias AWG a milÃmetros
|El calibre AWG (American Wire Gauge) es la medida americana para la medición en diámetro de cables, en mucha documentación técnica, manuales y tutoriales en Internet se usa la medición AWG asàque la conversión a milÃmetros a mas de uno le será útil, también hay otros datos interesantes como la resistencia según la distancia, amperaje de trabajo, etc.
Tabla con equivalencia AWG a milÃmetros
 TPI = turns-per-inch, vueltas por pulgada. Útil para el cálculo de bobinados.
Diam(mm) = diámetro en milÃmetros.
Circ-mils = área de la sección recta en mils circulares (1 circ-mil = d^2 siendo d el diámetro en mils).
Ohms/kft = resistencia en Ohms por cada 1000 pies (1 pie = 0.3048 metros).
Ft/Ohm = Número de pies requeridos para 1 ohm de resistencia.
Amps = Tasa de corriente admisible basado en 750 circ-mils por ampere.
MaxAmp = Corriente máxima admisible basado en 500 circ-mils por ampere.

Hola, me llama la atencion en la tabla, en la columna Amps, el AWG 21 y 22, el gran salto que pega de 0.8 del Awg 22 a 10 el Awg 21, mientras las otras columnas mantienen una relacion.
Si vas viendo los demás valores de AMPS vas a notar que no es tan raro lo que decÃs, el crecimiento es exponencial y no lineal.
